About
These terms apply to website design, build, and maintenance services provided by Jamie Skinner, trading as Jamie Skinner Dev, a self-employed sole trader based in Swansea, Wales.
Quotes and deposits
All prices shown on this site are starting prices — the final quote depends on the specific scope of your project and will be confirmed in writing before work begins. A deposit may be requested before work starts, with the balance due on completion.
Revisions
Each build package includes a reasonable number of revision rounds to get the site right. Additional changes beyond what's agreed at the outset may be charged separately at an hourly or fixed rate, agreed in advance.
Ownership
Once paid in full, you own the content and design of your website. The underlying code, templates, and reusable components I build remain mine to reuse for other clients.
Maintenance plan
The monthly maintenance plan covers hosting, routine updates, and small content edits as described on the pricing page. It can be cancelled by either party with 30 days' notice. Optional add-ons are billed alongside the base maintenance fee and can be added or removed by agreement.
Cancellation
If a project is cancelled partway through, work completed up to that point will be invoiced at a fair proportion of the agreed price. Any deposit paid is non-refundable once work has started, to cover time already spent.
Liability
I'll do my best to deliver a working, reliable website, but I can't guarantee uninterrupted uptime from third-party hosting providers, nor specific business outcomes (e.g. a set number of enquiries or sales).
